A free workshop run by the West Coast Wikipedian at Large, Dr Mike Dickison. Participants will learn how Wikipedia works, how to improve and create articles, tips and tricks for formatting, referencing, and adding photos, and the wider issues of the reliability and bias of Wikipedia. The morning will be spent in editing tutorials, and the afternoon in improving articles with one-to-one assistance.

For a full description of the day, see the project page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Greymouth/Wikipedia_Workshop

You will need to bring your own laptop, or be prepared to work in a pair with someone else. Tea, coffee, and lunch are provided – let us know your dietary requirements.
